Kind of a double story going on here. Various elements of this book came together to make this an enjoyable read. Other than that, it was another perfect read from Eloisa James!
All the threads of the story are pulled together at the end with the exception of Helene, who is the subject of another book entitled Your Wicked Ways. All the women where fantastic, supportive characters and the men were rather dashing. I loved seeing their story come to a HEA. And what better place to find one than at a house party given by Infamous Esme.
I really enjoy Eloisa James’ books, and didn’t mind this one, but I did find it a bit slow at times. With Gina and Henrietta on one side and Beatrix and Helene on the other, this 5×7 can be yours.
She and Bonnington provide half the romantic intrigue in the book while Bea and Stephen have the other half and then the foursome becomes entangled due to everyone’s inability to be honest about their feelings and Esme’s mommy issues – her mother is dreadful. What follows are outrageous games of seduction and shocking behavior. More By and About This Author. On pageI write about the poet Stephen Barnfield, and in my historical note I refer to him correctly as Richard Barnfield. The friendships are great and there are cool self-realizations for the wonderful female characters and lots of fun schemes and plots, mostly centered around poor Stephen pretending on being in a relationship with someone!
It always strikes me as a huge irony that as a romance writer I find myself married to a knight, a cavaliereas you say in Italian.

Pursiit a fan of Shakespeare, I especially loved three ending Alot going on in this book. Will be reading the other 3 around these characters ASAP! When I rip off my power suit, whether it’s academic or romantic, underneath is the rather tired, chocolate-stained sweatshirt of a mom. Helene, Countess Godwin lives apart from her husband Rees.
But we all know that his heart if following his body straight to Lady B.

I am liking this series a lot. That scene was wonderfully done and I legitimately cried reading it, it was so wonderfully sweet and heartwarming. Glad this was a library read, narrated by Justine Eyre. I wish Amazon would have series lists so I don’t have to spend elooisa minutes figuring out order and then blindly getting whatever.

And I will continue to enjoy it. Her “double life” is a source of fascination to the media and her readers. And I have girlfriends who are romance readers. She was found in the arms of a gentleman and has been shunned as promiscuous. I understood that Jwmes was kind of the tie that binds as such between all of the books in the series, but it could have been balanced differently to achieve tell the stories in a deeper and even more enriching way.
I had just the opposite wils as I read A Wild Pursuit. Thanks for telling us about the problem. Amongst them are Helene and Rees intera Went above my expectations.
Problem is, the Marquess of Bonnington is slumming it up pretending to be one of her gardeners. Please stop by and join the conversation on my readers’ pages. Bea blinked down at the fan. At the end of this book, Helene is determined to get a child however she has to, even if it means scandal. I truly think that if these two could have gotten more time Bea and Stephen this book would have rated even higher for me.
But after ten years of championing the rights of the common man in Parliament, Stephen feels drained and tired of fighting an uphill battle.
The Narration was actually quite good, but a good narrator can only take material so far. Esme Rawlings, the even more eloiss pregnant and recently widowed duchess is holding another house party.
Nomenclature problems aside, this is an unusual and distinctive romance. I read the play wlid ago, but I never realized that Juliet proposed to him.
